A time to think
My generation is the X generation, a generation filled with technology. Internet, Cell Phones, Cable TV, I pods, Video Games.... you get my point. I recently moved out abandoning my simple comforts of Internet and TV, and I have come to the realization that all these devices have become a little too much. Today far too many people are wrapped up in a technical world. We have become so involved in this technical world we are beginning to become awkward when It come to the real world. I am just waiting for Internet Addicts Anonymous to become just as normal as Alcoholics Anonymous. Its saddening to think about, But we have found ways around simple thinking. Making it easier to avoid who we really are. When I didn't have Internet or TV I found myself thinking a lot more. Its quite calming really. Anyways I thought a lot and actually learned a lot about myself that I had lost in todays world. It used to be you rode your bike when you were bored now we spend our time on Myspace, Facebook, Online games, and we wonder why our world is becoming so corrupt and out of control? Just think. Anyways my point is that if you bored read a book, ride your bike, organize something, put a puzzle together it is truly a lot more rewarding.Just some food for thought.
